Barbara A. Brodoway
Barbara A. Brodoway graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in art history and history in 1981 and, like many with such useless degrees, decided to go to law school. She received her J.D. from Villanova Law School in 1985. She was admitted to the Delaware Bar in 1985 and the Federal Bar in 1986. She has worked for several law firms in Wilmington, Delaware, including her own, and joined Ward & Taylor, LLC in 2005. She teaches real estate law and seminars for the New Castle, Kent and Sussex Counties Board of Realtors, the Delaware Association of Realtors, and several real estate schools and firms. She has worked extensively with many non-profit organizations in the Delaware Federation of Housing focusing primarily on educating first time and low and moderate income homebuyers. She is the recipient of the 2012 Leon N. Weiner Award for Fair Housing and three-time winner of the KCAR Educator of the Year Award. Barbara is a member and past chairman of the Education Committee of Real Estate Commission. She enjoys running (but not very fast) and traveling (but not far enough).
