Gerald J. Proffitt
Mr. Proffitt graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Political Science and received his J.D. from the Widener University School of Law. He is a member of the Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland Bar Associations and is also admitted to practice before the U. S. Tax Court. He works primarily in the areas of real estate and estate planning. He is an affiliate member of the New Castle County, Suburban West and Cecil County Realtor Associations. He teaches real estate law for the New Castle County Board of Realtors, Kent County Board of Realtors and the Sussex County Board of Realtors. He is also a frequent lecturer at first time Homebuyer seminars. He is a volunteer at various Wills for Seniors events, the Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity and Operation Brotherly Love. He lives in Hockessin, Delaware with his wife and two children and enjoys running, biking and golfing.
